Evans' delight at Macau GP top-ten finish

Santon man feels 'proud' to have represented IoM at the race

Isle of Man motorcycle racer Michael Evans says he's 'so happy' after achieving a top-ten finish at this year's Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix.

The Santon man crossed the line in ninth place at the 55th edition of the event at the weekend moving up six places from his starting slot at 15th.

Fellow Isle of Man TT competitor Peter Hickman claimed top spot to take his fourth Macau victory with Davey Todd securing second whilst German rider David Datzer completed the podium in third.

Taking to social media, Evans says he and the team have had 'an amazing time', adding he's 'feeling proud' to have represented the Isle of Man at the 2023 race.
