Onchan beat Colby to win Masters FA Cup

Ramsey AFC have secured the first league title of the men's Manx football season as they were confirmed 2023/24 Canada Life Combination One champions last night (24 April).

The northern side claimed top spot following a 3-2 home win over Ayre United on Wednesday evening courtesy of a brace from Dorin Tatar and a strike from Dylan Pickles.

Phill Dunnigan and Dean Tate were on the scoresheet for the visitors.

It means Ramsey now sit clear at the summit on 53 points after 20 games - four points better off and having played one less than previous defending champions Rushen United who were 6-2 winners over Braddan.

Elsewhere, Onchan swept to a 5-1 victory over Colby at The Bowl to claim this year's Masters FA Cup.

For the cup winners, Ste Priestnal hit the net twice with Darren Hudgeon, Ciaran McNulty and Tristan Ringham also on target.
