
Manx swimmer Grant Halsall has qualified for this evening's 200m Backstroke Final at the World Schools' Games in Qatar.
Representing Great Britain, he was third fastest in this morning's heats from 30 competitors in a time of 2 minutes 5.99 seconds.
The World Games takes place every three years and is the biggest international sporting event for schools.
Halsall is being taught at Plymouth College after being awarded a Gubay “Chase your Dream” scholarship.
