IoM to host inaugural Island Invitational Netball Games

Six Island nations competing at NSC over five days this week

The Isle of Man will host the first ever edition of a new international netball tournament throughout this week.

The Island Invitational Netball Games take place from today until Saturday (7-11 November) at the NSC in Douglas with teams from the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, Ynys Mon, Orkney and Shetland taking part.

Isle of Man Netball's Head of Performance, Claire Battye, thinks it could be a 'hugely inspiring' for the next generation to get involved with the sport.

What's more, she thinks this is a big opportunity to grow the game both on and off the court:
