Oates takes top prize at Blue Point
Kevin Oates was the winner of the Manx Petroleum Trophy and the second English Sporting selection shoot of the year at Ayre Clay Target Club’s Blue Point Range.
Oates took the honours in the Harding Lewis sponsored competition, followed by Juan Cowley and Phil Butler.
Martin Kneen, Paul Magee and Fred Waggett won A, B, and C Classes respectively, with Jake Brew taking the junior prize.
This weekend at Blue Point there’s two Double Trap competitions, sponsored by Jewsons.
Saturday’s 90 target selection shoot entries close at 12.30pm.
Sunday’s 150 target Double Trap Manx Championship entries close at 10.15am.
There is also a 50 target Sportrap competition with entries closing at 10.15am.
