Netball: IOM Netball announces U21 Europe Netball squad

Twelve players heading to Sheffield in early October

Isle of Man Netball has confirmed the squad which will contest the Europe Netball U21 Championship & Challenge event in the UK next month.

Twelve players are named in the Manx side which will compete at the tournament at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield from 6-8 October.

Captaining the side will be Cassidy Pizzey whilst Kenzie Pizzey has been appointed vice-captain.

The series will see eight nations field U21 sides across three days of competition.

Four teams make up the Championship group - England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The Isle of Man side will be involved in the Challenge group and will face Gibraltar, Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.

Their opening game of the tournament will be at 1pm on 6 October against Switzerland.
