Ravens hunting maximum points on home soil

FC Isle of Man face their second game in three days as they host Pilkington in the NWCFL Premier Division at 6pm tomorrow night (11 November).

It's a quick turnaround for the Ravens who were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at Lower Breck on Thursday evening.

Several changes are made to the Island squad for this weekend's clash which includes a long-awaited return for long-term absentee Dan Simpson.

FC Isle of Man manager, Paul Jones is hoping his side's inconsistent performance on Thursday has shaken off any rustiness from their recent extended break:

Despite not picking up maximum points on Merseyside in midweek, FC Isle of Man's latest run of form is a positive one with four wins, one draw and one loss from their last six.

As a result, they sit tenth in the NWCFL Premier Division after 20 games with 30 points registered and currently five points outside the promotion play-off spots further up.

Their opponents this weekend, Pilkington - who were promoted from NWCFL Division One North last season - have themselves had an encouraging campaign so far at this level.

The St Helens-based outfit sit one place behind the Manx side in 11th on 28 points having played one game less.

What's more, the visitors were victorious over the Ravens back on 6 September with a 3-1 victory.

FC Isle of Man vs Pilkington takes place at The Bowl this Saturday, 11 November, kicking-off at 6pm
