FC Isle of Man face first of four straight away fixtures this evening (16 August)

FC Isle of Man will be looking for a repeat of a hard-fought victory last weekend as they head back on the road in the NWCFL Premier Division tonight (16 August).

The latest opponents for the Manx side are Glossop North End this evening in the first of four consecutive away games for the Ravens for the rest of the month.

The Manx side's 2-1 comeback win over Padiham last Saturday sees them sit 12th in the league after just four games including two victories and two losses.

Their manager, Paul Jones, is hoping his side can take the discipline they showed last time out into tonight's clash in the hopes of getting a result:

A win tonight for FC Isle of Man could see them go as high as sixth in the table depending on the scoreline - three of their first four matches have been on home soil and their only away outing so far at Ramsbottom United on 2 August resulted in a narrow 2-1 loss.

Meanwhile, Glossop North End - relegated from the Northern Premier League system last season - are still searching for their first win this season after a difficult start which has seen them manage one draw and three defeats so far.

Glossop North End vs FC Isle of Man takes place tonight at the Asgard Engineering Stadium, kicking-off at 7.45pm

Paul Jones' is only forced into one change from the side which secured victory against Padiham last weekend in that defender Jamie Corlett is unavailable due to work commitments, he's replaced by Joe Quayle who's called up to the squad for the first time this season.

Meanwhile, there's also a return to the fold for Luke Murray who could bolster both the midfield and attacking options in the continued absence of Sean Doyle and Ste Whitley.
