SHOOTING: Mihailovits leads the way

The second round of the Winter Series Pro Sporting league was held at Meary Veg Santon with 20 competitors taking part in dull, wet, and windy conditions but the good thing was it was shot under the shelters.

Once both layouts had been shot by all competitors we had the following results:

In C Class, Dave Clague finished in third with 29 points with Harvey Stembridge taking second place with 32 points and taking C class with 36 points was Mark Hepworth.

In B class, Mark Sweetman was in third place with 40 points with Stan Cross taking second with 41 points but piping him by one point for first place was Liam Kirkpatrick with 42 points.

John Moore was third in A class with 41 points with Dave Corlett taking second place on 43. Taking the highgun on the day and first in A class was Paul Mihailovits.

1st P Mihailovits 24,20=44,2nd D Corlett 22,21=43,3rd J Moore 23,18=41

B Class

1st L Kirkpatrick 20,22=42,2nd S Cross 24,17=41 3rd M Sweetman 20,20=40

C Class

1st M Hepworth 22,14=36,2nd H Stembridge 17,15=32,3rd D Clague 19,10=29.

Next week is the second round of the Utopia Hair Salon Winter Series English skeet league.
