Sidecar World and British champions to make TT debut

Ellis and Clement have dominated during 2022 & 2023 campaigns

The 2022 and 2023 world and British sidecar champions will make their TT debut in 2024.

Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle Clement - who will contest both sidecar TT races - have taken 15 Grand Prix victories and 38 podiums in the last three seasons.

The Anglo-French duo took the FIM Sidecar World Championship title for the first time in 2022 and successfully defended their crown in this year's campaign, fending off competition from the likes of current sidecar TT champions, and lap record holders, Ben and Tom Birchall.

During the same period they also claimed the British Championship title in 2022 and this year - in the latter they won all 12 rounds they contested.

29-year-old Ellis - whose stepdad Gary Bryan is a long-serving sidecar TT competitor - says racing on the Snaefell Mountain Course 'has been on my mind for a number of years.'

Clement adds it will be a 'huge challenge' but 'we have a fantastic group of people around us which I really think will help our learning and progress.'

The 2024 three-lap Sidecar TT Race 1 and Sidecar TT Race 2 are scheduled to take place on Saturday, 1 June and Wednesday, 5 June respectively.
