The second of two programmes exploring some of the Island’s history and heritage, and the work carried out by Manx National Heritage to preserve it for the Manx nation.
This week, we visit Rushen Abbey to learn a little about the history of the site, and how the site has been tailored to encourage families to visit from Curator of Archaeology Allison Fox.
And we take a trip to Castletown to speak to Objects Conservator Christopher Weeks about a project to conserve and return a unique object from the Island’s maritime history to the Nautical Museum.
