On the show this week we grab an update on this year’s Isle of Man Poetry Society’s Poetry Trail, Christa McCartney tells us about the Kodály method for learning music and Artist Julie Collins shows us around her exhibition at the Isle Gallery.

 

Bethany de Legh-Runciman, organiser of the Isle of Man Poetry Society’s Poetry Trail joins us to reveal some of the poets who have been selected to take part in the trail which takes place between the 16th of September and 15th October at various locations around Douglas Town Centre. You’ll remember Harpist Christa McCartney from our Celtfest Special, well not only is she a wonderful musician in her own right, she also teaches music using she’s a Hungarian method called Kodály
 

And if you’re out and about this thursday, Northen Men In Sheds are opening their doors to visitors between 1 and 4pm so pop along to their base in the grounds of Ramsey Cottage Hospital to find out more about how the initiative brings fellas together through creative projects.
