Today we’re warming up for the Isle of Man Film Festival which starts tomorrow - we’ll be speaking to our very own Christy De Haven, one of the festival Directors about what we have to look forward to. We’ll also be finding out what’s coming up at the King’s Court Theatre with David Dawson and we hear from Costume Artist Sanya Torkmorad-Jozavi on her return from the Venice Biennale where she’s been assisting Michal Cole in the production of her collaborative installation with Ekin Onat in the Biennale’s Pavilion of Humanity.

Costume Artist Sanya Torkmorad-Jozavi has been assisting British-Israeli artist Michal Cole with her collaboration with Turkish Artist Ekin Onat, in the Biennale’s Pavillion of Humanity. The Pavillion, unlike others, is not founded or promoted by a single country but acts as a platform to artists who lend an artistic voice to the struggle for human rights and freedom. Together, Michal Cole and Ekin Onat have created artistic space for the discussion of women's rights and freedom of speech during this 57th Biennale. Sanya was involved in the making of Top Gun which Michal Cole describes as her loudest feminist statement yet!
