Festival Season

You'd be hard pushed to find a performer on the Isle of Man who is yet to tread the boards at the Manx Music Seech and Dance Festival Now (or The Guild as we fondly know it). Judith Ley has long been the familiar voice of the Guild on Manx Radio with her annual, daily coverage of the entire festival! With the Guild celebrating its 125th birthday, Judith joins us to share fond memories from over the years, which capture the spirit of the festival. Catch Judith's coverage of this year's festival on Mandate, Women Today and at 9pm every evening this week!

Matt Creer and his band travelled to Carlow last week to compete in the Pan Celtic International Festival. Despite a hiccup or two, the team came first in their category 'Original Song in the Traditional Style' with Matt's song, 'These Walls', translated into Manx by Bob Carswell.

Find more of Matt's music on iTunes or through his website www.mattcreer.com

And get ready, because the Creative Network's Isle of Man Art Festival is here this weekend! Now happening all around the Island, no matter where you find yourself this Bank Holiday, you're guaranteed to find some fantastic Art nearby!
