On Air One to Three Christy Dehaven | 1:00pm - 3:00pm

#MRWomenToday listen again: a bunch of amateurs...(shush now!)

On the programme today: -

- we were joined in the studio by Jude Dicken from Manx National Heritage who has a very different hat on this week, as she prepares for opening night tomorrow of the play 'A Bunch of Amateurs'. Jude is directing the 'Hog the Limelight' production of the Ian Hislop play, it's on at the Port St Mary Town Hall tomorrow, Friday and Saturday night and you can pay on the door;

- we spoke with marine biologist Samantha Barnett - direct from the Seychelles! - about the destruction of the coral reefs, the impact it is having on the environment and on our future, and found out what we can do to help the situation. You can find out more about their work here;

- we looked at news showing that the gender gap is an issue again - but the other way around, as the number of young men opting to go to university has drastically dropped in the past few years; and we looked at criticism the BBC has been facing about an all male quiz team that was put forward for University Challenge, despite the fact they came from a former all-female college which was set up for women

If you missed the show you can listen again at this link for the next 7 days.
