Beth's guest on the Conister Rock this afternoon was someone whose contribution to music in the Isle of Man over more than four decades was marked in the New Year with the British Empire Medal for services to the Manx community.
Julian Power BEM shared some memories and wonderful pieces of music. His musical "career" started at the tender age of six, he met his wife while he practiced the church organ and he moved over here in the late 1970s forming firm friendships through his passion for music.
As expected his musical choices include some incredible classical pieces and some with a poignant family link.
