#MRWomenToday listen again: cycle safety and a very Grenaby Christmas

On the programme today: -

- in light of a new UK consultation looking into the matter, we asked if you think helmets and high vis should be made compulsory for cyclists? We spoke to the Island's Road Safety Manager Samantha Heard and also Rob Holden, campaigner for safer cycling. And, of course, we heard some of your thoughts on the issue;

- we began a gentle 'step into Christmas' as we spoke to Vicky Christian about QEII's Christmas fair, which is happening tomorrow evening from 6-9pm. There will be lots of local small businesses attending and plenty of student stalls - Santa will also be in his grotto and raffle prizes include the top prize courtesy of the Steam Packet, a voucher for a car plus 2 passengers. Vicky also told us how the school's association is on the look out for a new chairperson, so listen back for details;

- and we were joined in the studio by artists Graham Hall from Artforms from Nature and Claire Pearse from Element Isle who told us all about Grenaby Studios Artisan Christmas Market and Festival happening Thursday night and Saturday. Visit the Facebook page to find out more about it
