#MRWomenToday listen again: Georgie Revill and Suzanne Ridley

We were joined in the studio today by Suzanne Ridley from social media and marketing business Jakebriy, the founder of the Women In Business Group - a new Island based initiative created to inspire and unite young female entrepreneurs of the Island by having networking meetings and speakers from every walk of life. You can find the group on Facebook here;

- we were also joined by Georgie Revill from The Cook Shack, whose work with charities has seen her raising £80k for Special Olympics, raising funds for Sailing for the Disabled, working with The Community Farm, bringing The Sound Learning Centre over here 10 years ago and now securing Silly Moos field for Sunday, 15th July when she is hoping to put on MannKind Festival for those with additional needs either mental or physical and their families; you can find out more on the TimeBank Group where Georgie's idea is gathering great momentum and support already, and follow the event itself on Facebook here;

- also today, we looked at the notion of whether being posh means you get more dosh, as the BBC’s Steph McGovern says the pay gap is not just about gender, but also about class;

- and news blog Huffington Post UK has set aside time from reporting current affairs and entertainment news to ‘celebrate kindness in the UK’ with the hope to inspire and uplift their readers – so we took a moment to celebrate their 'HumanKind' iniative, as something positive in the mainstream media for once!
