We were joined on the programme today by two extremely inspiring ladies - 9 year old Lula Brown has been raising money and awareness of water based charities since the age of 7; she has now created GUSHGUSH to promote her work and the issues faced by millions of people less fortunate than herself all over the world. She spoke maturely, articulately and passionately about what she does and why she does - and she melted our hearts! Many thanks also to Dad Alex who sat in with Lula, and couldn't help but express how proud he is of his daughter.

We were also joined in the studio by our very own News Editor of the past 10 years, Marian Kenny, on her last day in the role- and indeed a long and varied career in broadcast journalism, as she moves on to new pastures next week. She shared some of her lasting moments and memories, talked with us about the ever changed world of news and also shared some music choices with us. She will be very sadly missed here but we wish her all the very best, and know that she will be wonderful in her new position.
