#MRWomenToday listen again - #roadchamps cycling; gelato treats; Ramsey cooks up controversy

gealtoOn the programme today:

- we were joined in the studio by an award winning filmmaker and Scottish Monopoly champion who is now building his own empire - out of lolly sticks and Italian ice cream...Rory Dorling delivers delicious little sticks of icy cold colour and joy to children and adults alike - with his Gelato lollies venture ‘Stixx’.

- also today – we foud out how you can be part of one of the most prestigious events in the British domestic cycling calendar even if you’re not on two wheels....we spoke to Head of Tourism Angela Byrne and event co-Director Richard Fletcher about the British Cycling National Road Championships, which take place on the Island next week. With some of the sport's biggest names taking part (in Richard's words - 'it's more about who's NOT coming!') and with highlights scheduled for ITV4 and Eurosport, organisers are asking people to line the course wearing red and gold. We heard about the road closures, crossing points, call for Marshalls, legacy events and of course all the details of the time trials and road races.  To find out more visit www.manxinternational.com

- and as we mentioned yesterday, the celebrity sweary shouty chef Gordon Ramsey thinks it’s ok to leave his kids in economy when they fly while he and his wife live it up in First Class. We asked if this was a good life lesson for them, as Ramsey suggests, or if it's just plain mean leaving them in cattle class?
