- we were joined in the studio by multi-instrumentalist and inventor Simeon Wood, who brought his rather surprising bag of partly-invented instruments with him to show and play for us... Having recently found fame with his musical bicycle pump and NHS walking stick (no, really!) he has found himself on the BBC One Show, Chris Evans Breakfast show and now, finally, the pinnacle of broadcasting - Women Today with Beth and Christy... ;) You can see Simeon at a free concert this evening, 7.30pm at Ballaugh Parish Church, and videos of his visit, which need to be seen to be believed, on the Manx Radio YouTube page later this evening
- we also spoke on the phone with behavioural psychologist Dr Caspar Addyman, who specialises in the science of baby laughter and who told us about the wonderful project he worked on with musician Imogen Heap that not only earned her a Grammy, but is also scientifically proven to make your baby happy; to find out more click here; Also, visit the C&G Baby Club to find some help on the Witching Hour - an issue for many mums and dads that Dr Caspar also spoke with us about;
- and we heard some encouraging news from the world of fashion (for once!) as new editor of Vogue, Edward Enninful, reveals he has some rather ground breaking plans for the magazine
