#MRWomenToday listen again: Studying on Island, marrying oneself and Beth admits she was wrong.....

On #MRWomenToday Beth and Howard were joined by Higher Education Manger at University College Isle of Man Gail Corrin to talk about a unique induction week students in Business Management, Event Management and Marketing and Accounting and Finance have been taking part in.

UCM offers 12 degrees and three postgraduate or master programmes and next week there's an open day at the Nunnery campus for people thinking about their options for 2018.  It's from 3pm-6pm - and there'll be pizza....  For more information about courses visit http://www.ucm.ac.im

Also today we heard the full interview with Lynn Bridson who was evicted from her council house earlier this week, we also had the full statement in relation to this from Douglas Council.

We talked about cameras which decide themselves when to take photographs or short videos, discussed the merits of marrying yourself and yes, Beth admitted she was wrong.  It was a question relating to the Parish Walk - if you missed it you can listen again for the next seven days by clicking here.

Tomorrow we are dedicating the show to songs from musicals in honour of TheatreFest so let us know what your favourite is by emailing womentoday@manxradio.com
