On the programme today: -

walton2- we were joined by Anne Hodgson, Community Fundraiser for the Walton Centre in Liverpool; Anne told us all about the wonderful work the centre does, providing state of the art medical expertise for many Isle of Man patients who need neural or spinal assistance, and the critical support they provide for family members too;

- ever tried Crown Green Bowling? Fancy a spot of Lawn Tennis? we spoke with Elizabeth Sibthorpe and Greeba Paramour from Douglas Lawn Tennis and Finch Hill Crown Green Bowling Club to find out about a 4 Sports Open Day on Sunday 2nd July; it takes in Tennis, Bowling, Snooker and Basket Ball, everyone is invited to come along and try any or all of the sports...

- Howard was climbing trees on Day 15 of #30DaysWild for the Manx Wildlife Trust;

- and we heard from local Dads Stuart McFaull (aka 'Dad In Distress') and Gary Salisbury, who told us what it means to them to be a father in 2017, ahead of Father's Day on Sunday;

- and as if that wasn't enough (!) Beth had some rather suspect advice from our own John Moss ahead of her Parish Walk debut on Saturday, and we played out with local trad group Scran, who will be performing tomorrow evening (Friday 16th June) at the Peel Lifeboat Station along with the Mollag Band and Clash Vooar as part of the Isle of Architecture 'gigs in unusual spaces' initiative. Gig details here.

If you missed the show, you can listen again for the next 7 days at this link.

Tomorrow, we'll have our monthly Arts Roundup and be joined again in the kitchen by Enzo for some tasty hints and tips on how you can impress your father with freshly prepped food feast this weekend.
