#MRWomenToday listen again: wellbeing in the cloud-based workplace!

On the programme today: -

- it's Wellbeing Week, and we were joined in the studio by Michelle Poyzer and Heidi Dalgleish from the Isle of Man Government Workplace Wellbeing Group and the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce about a workshop happening here next month. The programme will present you with the necessary skills to develop your current programme or begin your journey towards the introduction of wellbeing within your workplace. Topics this year include: The current health profile of the working-age population in the Isle of Man, personal resilience and stress management, an update on the Equality Act and much more, including Winners of the Awards for Excellence “Workplace Wellbeing” category. You can find out more at the Group's web page here, and you can book a place on the workshop, which is at the Sefton Hotel on Nov 22nd, by visiting the Villa website here.

- we were also joined by Phaedra Bird from Pinnacle Accounting, who came in to talk to us about doing business in the digital age and give us details about a FREE breakfast event taking place tomorrow which will explain what Cloud Accounting is and how you can make it work for your business; the event is at the Claremont Hotel tomorrow morning (Weds 25th Oct), registration and breakfast at 8am, presentation at 830am, all finished by 10am; if you'd like to find out more, call Phae or Kim on 627334, visit pinnacle.im

- also today, we spoke to MixMag music expert Sarah Lamptey about a study by LinkedIn and Spotify which says that listening to music at work makes you better at your job; If you want to check out LinkedIn's Ultimate Workplace Playlist, you can find it on Spotify here.

- we also asked you if you listen to music in the workplace and if so, what works for you?

- and, as Einstein's Theory of Happiness is revealed ("a quiet and modest life brings more joy than a pursuit of success bound with constant unrest”) - we wanted to know what makes YOU happy?
