The Manx Bard inauguration 2017 - Manx Song: Sea Invocation, performed by Caarjyn Cooidjagh

Published on 24 Aug 2017

One of the Isle of Man's most beautiful songs, 'Sea Invocation', performed by the leading Manx choir, Caarjyn Cooidjagh.

The song was collected by Mona Douglas at the start of the 20th Century and it tells of a woman's wish for her husband to return safely from the sea.

This performance was delivered as a part of the event at Moorhouse Farm, Isle of Man, organised to announce the Manx Bard 2017.
