General Summary

As the Nation’s Station, Manx Radio are proud and committed to supporting community events across the island.

We have opportunities coming up where you can join the team at several events.

We are looking for fun, reliable, enthusiastic people to help represent the station at the community events. 

No media experience is necessary. 

You will be required to provide your own transport to and from the various locations of the events.

The dates and times that we will need you are below.  Please get in touch if you meet the criteria and can do any of these sessions.

Saturday 15 July	10am -4pm
Saturday 29 July	8.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 29 July	8.30am-1.00pm or 1.00pm-4.30pm
Sunday 30 July	8.30am – 4.30pm
Sunday 30 July	8.30am-1.00pm or 1.00pm-4.30pm
Friday 11 August	8.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 12 August	8.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 12 August	8.30am-1.00pm or 1.00pm-4.30pm

Tasks & Responsibilities

Working with the Manx Radio team to set up and take down our stand.

Liaising with members of the public.

Helping with maintaining interactive games and activities

Assistance with maintaining stock levels of merchandise.

Skill & Experience

Excellent verbal communication skills

Friendly and outgoing persona

Team player and able to act on instructions provided.

Good at working under pressure.

Attention to detail.
