The Great Union Camera Obscura has been entertaining visitors for more than 100 years. Located overlooking the harbour on Douglas Head, interesting activities can be observed taking place around the whole of Douglas Bay. Be amazed at the colourful true-to-life images of familiar scenes presented in a mysterious way. Despite the scaffold that is surrounding the obscura at present, we are open to the public as usual - weather dependent - the obscura is open when the flag is flying!
