‘The Story of Collinson House, Port Erin’ is the title of Julie Blackburn's illustrated talk when she will guide us through the history of this iconic building with it's domed roof overlooking Port Erin bay. Built over 100 years ago as a café, extended to include a ballroom to meet the demands of an
ever-increasing number of tourists staying in this very popular southern resort. The venue for Julie's talk is St. Andrew’s Church, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas. Commencing at 7.30pm. IOM Vic Soc members free, Non-members £4 at the door. Light refreshments included. Parking on site.
