MOLLY CARROOIN'S COTTAGE - OPEN DAY

The iconic Manx Cottage in the centre of Onchan, close to St. Peter’s Church, is to be open to the public thanks to volunteers from The Friends of Onchan’s Heritage.
The cottage, which at one time was thatched and was in fact built as a weaving shed, was once the home of Molly Carrooin, the Village washerwoman, after whom it is named.
It is to be open over two days, Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September. On each day the opening time is 1.30pm - 4.30pm, admission Free.
