Closing the Quing Recovery to Discovery Conference, the day is concluded with an early evening, entertaining and inspiring performance and talk by PHIL SPALDING an internationally acclaimed session musician and player of Fender Precision Bass guitars. He has played and appeared with performing artists such as Mick Jagger, Seal, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Elton John and Randy Crawford Suggs, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue.

He went to rehab for chronic addiction issues with class ‘A’ and ‘B’ drugs in 2005, having been a drug user since the mid 1970’s and was also diagnosed with Hepatitis C during his 27 week stay in rehab. Since then he has helped to run, a project and group which aims to help others who are trying to cope with similar challenges, such as Hep C, addiction, social deprivation and other related issues.
