This year the annual February half term pantomime produced by Marown Youth & Community Players will be the classic – “Rapunzel” , a traditional story with a magical twist or two in the tale.

Our (very!) long haired beauty has spent her whole life locked away in a tower by the Evil Witch and has never laid eyes upon another real person. All she knows of the world is what she has read in her beloved books. Enter a dashing Prince with his loyal companion to whisk her away on a wonderful journey of discovery.
Throw in a hairdresser with a penchant for dad jokes, some well meaning fairies with confidence issues, a pair of bumbling nit wit baddies who only want to be good and the odd secretary (well, why not…) and you’ve got our slapsticky, great songy & dancey and glamorously glittery show that is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud. Just a little bit.
