
Manx athlete competes in two solo events in morning session
Manx athlete Harry Robinson has set a new personal best at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Swimming in the fourth men's 50m Butterfly heat, he knocked two hundredths of a second off his lifetime best, finishing in 25.21 seconds.
Also competing in the butterfly heats were Peter Allen, who finished in a time of 25.74 seconds, just one hundredth of a second over his personal best, and Joel Watterson who swam a time of 24.67 - four hundredths of a second off his PB.
Harry also competed in the men's 100m Backstroke recording a time of 59.66 seconds.
Despite their efforts, none are progressing to the next stages.
