84 new cases of Covid recorded

Drop of twelve on yesterday's figure

Eighty four new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded on the Isle of Man.

The figure is a drop of twelve on yesterday and brings the total number of active cases to 578.

There are currently seven people in Noble's Hospital with Covid-19 - one person is in the Intensive Care Unit.

Of the 84 positive tests recorded 78 were identified using lateral flow kits and six through PCR testing.

Walk-in vaccination clinics are continuing. The Chester Street Hub is open until 6pm today (28 January) for anyone aged 12 and over.

Tomorrow's venue will be the Western Wellbeing Centre in Peel - open between 10am and 2pm for people aged 12 and over.
