Lateral flow kits now available from pharmacies

At-home Covid tests free of charge for close contacts

Lateral flow testing kits are now available at local pharmacies, government says.

Supplies have been re-stocked and will also be available at four high schools: Ramsey Grammar, Castle Rushen, Ballakermeen, and QEII tonight between 8pm -10pm.

The home testing kits are being made available to close contacts of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 but do not have symptoms themselves.

It's as government has scrapped isolation rules for close contacts of people who test positive for Covid-19.

The kits are available in packs of seven free of charge, with one pack available per person.

Those collecting them must wear a face covering when entering the pharmacy and observe social distancing rules within the premises.
