More than 61,000 first doses of Covid jab administered

Milestone reached as focus starts on second doses

More than 61,000 people on the Isle of Man have now received the first dose of a coronavirus vaccine.

The milestone was reached yesterday, as Public Health shifts its focus to second doses for a number of weeks.

It means 82 per cent of the eligible adult population has received an injection.

Meanwhile, almost 16,000 have been given their second jab.
