Walk-in clinics continue with Covid vaccine push
The plan to give Covid booster vaccines to 90 per cent of eligible adults by mid-January is on target, the health minister has said.
There's been an extra push for people to come forward for the additional jab since the emergence of the Omicron variant - now thought to be the most dominant strain on the Island.
Lawrie Hooper says numbers have fallen slightly this week, but the take-up of the vaccine has still been good:
So far 45,505 booster vaccines have been administered on-Island, just over 69% of the eligible population.
A walk-in vaccine clinic for anyone over the age of 12 will take place at the Chester Street hub in Douglas from 8:45am - 2:15pm.
