Seven-day average for confirmed Covid cases 'around 51'

Most cases in last week in the 10-14 age bracket

The seven-day average for confirmed positive Covid-19 cases on Island stands at 'around 51'.

That's according to the latest surveillance report published by Public Health today (25 November).

Meanwhile, officials say the most confirmed cases in the last week have been in the 10-14 age group, most of which are unvaccinated.

At the time the data was compiled, there were two people in hospital with the virus.

Both were symptomatic and both were also fully-vaccinated.

Meanwhile, no further Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in the last seven days.

The number of fatalities on Island from the virus since the start of the pandemic stands at 66.
