Candidate declares for Arbory, Castletown and Malew

Ian-James Clanton announces intention to stand

The first candidate standing in the constituency of Arbory, Castletown and Malew for this year’s House of Keys General Election has been declared.

Ian-James Clanton, also known as HM Sole, is running for a second time, having contested the Douglas South by-election in 2020.

Announcing his candidacy, Mr Clanton says he can no longer sit back and watch the uncertainty of the current situation occur without voicing his concerns.

He says the Island community is vibrant and resilient, and promises to champion local and national policies that will strengthen the economy and living environment.

This year’s General Election will take place on Thursday 23rd September
