Candidate for Garff declares for election

A second Manx Labour Party member has declared their intention to stand in this year’s House of Keys General Election.

Gareth Young is a first time candidate, who’s going for one of the two seats in the constituency of Garff.

The 39 year old, who’s a father of four and a teacher, lists education and encouraging students back to the Island as his top priorities.

Mr Young says he understands the challenges faced by the people of the Isle of Man, adding he has the experience to make a difference. 

This year’s General Election will take place on Thursday 23rd September.
