Ecologist becomes sixth candidate to declare for Ramsey

Erica Spencer seeking election to House of Keys

An ecologist for Manx National Heritage has become the sixth person to declare their intention to stand in Ramsey in September's General Election.

Erica Spencer has lived in the constituency for the past twenty-three years and says she wants to bring about 'positive change' in the northern town.

She's outlined her priorities as health and wellbeing, housing, education, economy, climate change, and protecting the Ramsey Marine Nature Reserve from ecologically-damaging developments.

The Isle of Man General Election will take place on Thursday 23 September.

Also standing in Ramsey are Dr Alex Allinson, Liberal Vannin's Lawrie Hooper, Jonathan Kinrade, Luke Parker and Leonard Singer.
