Former Manx Radio news editor to stand in General Election

Tim Glover declares for Arbory, Castletown and Malew

Manx Radio's former news editor has declared his intention to stand in this year's General Election.

Tim Glover has resigned from his position to contest a seat in Arbory, Castletown and Malew.

He's spent the past 24 years working in the newsroom, and says it's time for a new challenge.

Among his priorities are climate change, affordable housing, mental health and the Island's recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also standing in the constituency is independent candidate Ian-James Clanton.

The election is due to take place on Thursday 23 September.
