Former Manx Radio presenter to stand in General Election

Stu Peters declares for Middle

A former freelance presenter for Manx Radio is stepping away from the station to run in September’s General Election. 

Stu Peters has declared he will be standing in the constituency of Middle, along with David Fowler and Keiran Hannifin. 

Middle constituency is currently held by Chief Minister Howard Quayle and Bill Shimmins, neither of whom are standing for re-election. 

Mr Peters has stood down with immediate effect from presenting Manx Radio’s Late Show. 

The election will take place on Thursday, 23 September.
