Former policeman wants to become MHK
A Michael Commissioner, and former policeman, is standing in the constituency of Ayre and Michael at this year's General Election.
Driving instructor Duncan Livingstone says his expertise lies in roads and traffic policing.
Other issues he says need to be addressed are the economy and covid recovery, affordable housing and government reform.
The Isle of Man General Election will take place on 23 September.
Mr Livingstone, an independent candidate, joins another independent Tim Johnston, Liberal Vannin's Paul Weatherall and current MHKs Alf Cannan and Tim Baker in declaring their intention to contest the seat.
