Michael Leather to stand in Onchan
A third candidate has declared their intention to stand in Onchan in the upcoming General Election.
Retired hotel owner Michael Leather will contest a seat as an independent candidate.
His main priority would be to create a thriving tourism sector by extending part of Loch Promenade to create 200,000 square metres of land, including enough room for an underground car park and shopping plaza.
Also standing in Onchan are the constituency's current MHKs, Julie Edge and Rob Callister.
The General Election will take place on Thursday 23rd September.
