Christine Urquhart to stand for Douglas East
A victims' rights campaigner has declared her intention to stand in September's general election.
Christine Urquhart is standing for a seat in the House of Keys for the constituency of Douglas East.
In her declaration, she says victims' rights and service provision is close to her heart.
Some of her key policies of interest are mental health, health and social care and education.
The other candidates who have declared for Douglas East are Manx Labour Party candidate Joney Faragher, Liberal Vannin Party candidate Michael Josem and Jon Joughin.
The Isle of Man general election will take place on Thursday, 23 September.
