Laxey Glen Mills continues to stock local shelves with flour
The Island is facing a wheat shortage.
It means the Laxey Glen Mills has fallen to its contingency plan to ensure local shelves continue to be stocked with Manx flour.
The company says Covid-19 has "driven an unprecedented demand" this year, meaning supplies have been used up faster than normal.
In particular it refers to plain and self-raising flour varieties.
The mills says it planned for such a scenario earlier in the year and has more wheat from the UK in storage, which it will now begin to use.
