Queen's Pier Trust 'neutral' on Ramsey Bay Marina plans

Proposed dredging may danger the legs

A group dedicated to the revival of a Victorian landmark in Ramsey, must take a 'neutral position' over proposals to create a marina in the town's bay, according to the project's manager.

The Queen's Pier Restoration Trust says it is looking to work with developers as it is not yet known what the impacts may be on the structure.

In January, plans were unveiled to build a 400-berth facility for yachts, retail outlets and a five-star boutique hotel.
