35-year-old also denies being disorderly on licensed premises
A Peel man will stand trial after being accused of assaulting a fellow pubgoer and causing him grievous bodily harm.
Paul David Whitehead, of Primrose Lane, denied the charge during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The 35-year-old also entered a not guilty plea to an offence of displaying behaviour on licensed premises – both offences reportedly took place on East Quay on 29 October.
Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – are expected to take place on 2 May; he’s been bailed until that date.
