On Air Good Friday Breakfast Chris Williams | 6:00am - 10:00am

Late Lunch listen again: Ben Hartley, Sophia Morrison and Berree Dhone

Today, we took on the MoghreyJedoonee Challenge set for us by Phil and Clarkey and found out all about the mysterious witch-like creature 'Berree Dhone' (with a little help from Chloe Woolley and her mum Sue, along with the Caarjyn Cooidjagh choir)

We were also joined by Ben for our regular Watch of the Week feature, where he told us about some fabulous programmes coming up for the Bank Holiday weekend and also took a look back in the archives at 'Benidorm' (remember that?)

As part of the Shoprite Celebration List comp (and a chance for someone to win £25 of Shoprite vouchers) we started our new 'Who Am I?' feature, as Beth gave clues that led us to Queen Victoria, who would have been 200 years old today

We also visited Dr Breesha Maddrell at Culture Vannin who helped us to celebrate one of the most important people in Manx cultural history - Sophia Morrison, born on this day in 1859. There is a special Manks Concert tonight celebration the folklorist at the Peel Centenary Centre (details as per poster)

And we looked at some Good News items from near and far and played Great Music to start your Bank Holiday weekend with a smile. The Soul Starter was Mary J Blige with 'Family Affair' and Hanson's MmmBop won the Jukebox.
