Late Lunch listen again: Mike Kewley

We caught up once again with Mike Kewley, for another spot of Mid-week mindfulness. We chatted about negativity and how we can sit with and even dissipate the most challenging of feelings. Mike also further explained this week's practice; titled 'Gone', the practice looks at the notion of impermanence, how everything is fleeting and how every moment - whether good or bad - will pass.

The Soul Starter was Dame Shirley Bassey's version of the Grammy award winning 1968 hit 'Spinning Wheel', originally by the band Blood, Sweat & Tears. Bassey's version was featured on her 1970 album 'Something'

The Jukebox was a fight between The Rolling Stones - who started a four week run at No.1 on the US chart with '(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction' the group's first chart-topper there (in the UK, the song was initially played only on pirate radio stations because its lyrics were considered too sexually suggestive!) and most recent hit for Katy Perry 'Never Really Over' - which rather surprisingly beat the Stones.
